BRING YOUR PHONE

Speedtalk at the moment does not provide cell phones. This is a bring your own device service that means we only provide wireless services.

Do I need to be contract free to use speedtalk?

Yes, Speedtalk will never deny you of service but your carrier has to unlock your phone for you to be able to use any other wireless provider. Please check with your current carrier to make sure you’re out of contract and the phone is in good standing.

Can I keep my existing cell phone number?

Yes, you can. We will ask you for your account # and password from your current carrier, phone number must be active with the current carrier to ensure the transfer of your number to speedtalk network.
Keep in mind that they are exceptions but it will never be because of speedtalk. You will also have to purchase one of our plans first and you should activate your account with speedtalk 5 days prior to your cancellation with your current carrier.
If you currently do not have a phone number. Speedtalk will generate one for you automatically, you just need to provide a zip code so we can issue a phone number based on that zip code. (It's important to enter the zip code of the area where you will regularly use your service)

CHECK COMPATIBILITY

a. GSM-T, CDMA or CDMAS

We need to make sure your phone works with our network. If you have an iPhone, Android, Windows or other type of phone that was a direct buy from the original maker then you do not need to worry about step a. but we will need your MEID/IMEI # and you will be able to pick any of our plans. -Skip to step B.
If you have a contract free phone like an iPhone, Android, Windows or any other type of phone obtained through VERIZON, you are eligible to the CDMA network.
If you have a contract free phone like an iPhone, Android, Windows or any other type of phone obtained through SPRINT, you are eligible to the CDMA-S network.
If you have a contract free phone like iPhone, Android, Windows or any other type of phone obtained through AT&T, you are eligible to the GSM-T network.
Any phone obtained through T-MOBILE will work with our network.

What is a CDMA, CDMAS & GSM-T?

Different carriers are different networks. CDMA, CDMAS, & GSM-T is just a name for the type of network they belong to.
Once you know the network your phone is eligible, check our coverage map to make sure we cover the area where you will regularly use your phone. click here

Does being a CDMA OR GSM affect the pricing?

Not at all. Being a CDMA, CDMAS or GSM does not affect the pricing. It’s just the best way for us to match your phone with the correct network.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, you can. We are a subscription based service.

Is this service a money back guaranteed?

We are a 100% money back guaranteed service. However, if you have consumed more than 30 minutes, 30 text, or 30mb of data within 14 days of the plan cycle. Your purchase will be considered buyer’s remorse and you will no longer qualify for a refund.

ACTIVATE

Once you have picked a plan and gone through the payment process. GSM-T users will need a speedtalk SIM Card to be able to connect with our network. You will receive your FREE SIM Card from us in the mail. Once you have received the SIM card please follow the instructions attached to the SIM card.
Not applicable for CDMA, CDMAS (Sprint / Verizon phones) with the exception of 4G LTE Verizon. Your plan will be activated right away within seconds of your purchased.

What is a SIM Card?

A SIM Card is a chip that all devices carry. The chip communicates with our network.

Is installing the SIM card hard?

Not at all, it takes about ten seconds.
